Is there a Linux version of the C-More or C-More Micro Software?

No.

Do I need to uninstall the Demo version to install the full working version of C-more programming software?

Answer

Prior to V6.00 of C-More Programming software, there was a DEMO version. You will have to uninstall the DEMO version, reboot, then redo the installation, using the keycode, during the installation process.

There is no DEMO version after V6.0.

Question:

Can I change the resolution of the Remote Access app on my PC to show better detail?

Answer

The resolution can't be changed, although the viewer window is completely sizable. The original resolution of the panel (size) determines the resolution of the Remote app, but it will always be less than the panel, since the data used by the Remote app is compressed to minimize lag between the panel and the PC.

Question:

I am getting a GUI-121 (EA_.mdb) error. What can cause that?

Answer

For the software to work correctly, the software needs to create temporary files. These files are in "C:UsersAppDataLocalTemp" folder. The file creations are shown here EA9_File_Creation.

Some common solutions for the files not being created:

  • A standard Windows module is used for creating 'EA_.mdb', you might need to do a repair/update on the Windows OS.
  • Some virus/security settings might be blocking the file creation, try disabling some of your virus/security settings.
  • When starting the EA9 software, right click on the icon, then select "Run as Administrator". You would need Admin rights on the PC to do this. Check with your IT department.
