Question I keep getting the error "Protocol Error" on my EZ Touch panel when connected to my Directlogic PLC. The com settings for my PLC port and EZ Touch panel match. What could be wrong?
Answer 1.If the PLC you are using has a Mode switch it must be in the TERM position. 2.If you are using a password in the PLC it must be a "Multi-Level" password if not the PLC will not be able to read and write information to the touch panel. Please refer to the PLC user manual or contact Tech Support to make sure your PLC supports Multi-Level passwords.
