| Answer: Yes, the DL05 units with DC inputs will accept encoders. This is explained in chapter 3 of the D0-USER-M. There is also an H0-CTRIO high-speed counter interface module for use in the option slot of the DL05 unit. |

| Answer: a. You can do High Speed Inputs or High Speed outputs, but not both. b. Mode 10 allows you to configure one high speed counter, up to 5 KHz. c. Mode 20 allows you to configure one quadrature counter, which allows counting in clockwise and counter clockwise directions (count up or count down), up to 5 KHz. d.
