On the USB-485M download, the driver doesn't have an installer. How to I install the driver?

Answer

Extract the driver ZIP file contents to an installation folder.

If Windows asks for a driver (when you insert the USB-485M), browse to the folder location where you extracted the files.

If you have to manually install the driver:

• Using Windows File Explorer, locate the driver folder (that you previously extracted)
  
• Right click on the "silabser.inf" file and select "Install".
  
  • Note: Make sure you select the INF (setup information) file
• Follow the Windows prompts

For detailed installation instructions, refer to the "CP210x_Universal_Windows_Driver_ReleaseNotes.txt" that is included in the ZIP file.
