Question

How do I install the USB driver for Productivity Suite? My USB connection isn't working, what should I do?

Answer

Make sure that Productivity Suite is shut down, and the USB cable is unplugged from PC.

For Productivity Version 3.7.0.10 (or older)
Once the software is installed, go to installation folder. On most computers, this will be: "C:\Program Files\Automation Direct\Productivity Suite x.x.x\data\USB"
  • For Intel PCs, double click on the "adcup_x86.exe" file.
  • For AMD PCs, double click on the "adcup_amd64.exe" file.

For Productivity Version 3.7.0.10 (or newer)
Go to the installation folder, which should be "C:Program Files (x86)AutomationDirectProductivity Suite x.x.x.xdatausb"
  • Right mouse click on the "adcup.inf" file, then select "install"
  • That should install the correct USB driver for your PC hardware.

You cannot use this driver on VM's, as the software is unsupported for VM use.
