DL405 Frequently Asked Questions AutomationDirect Logo

Question

Does the D4-RM have to be at the end of the chain or can it be wired in the chain (i.e., with slaves at each end)?

Answer

The D4-RM does need to be at one end of the physical connection chain. A termination resistor is also required here and at the last slave (which is added by jumpering T to 1).
