Soft Starters Frequently Asked Questions AutomationDirect Logo

Question

Can the SR44 be configured for 'Auto Start/Re-start'?

Answer

Yes. Soft-start must be set up for remote starting:

Basic --> Starting (select remote starting)
  • Activate i/p 1 (110Vac applied to "S1" and "S0" terminals)
  • If soft-start is running and main & control powers are lost, then upon re-application of power, with i/p 1 activated, the soft-start will operate the connected motor. Note i/p 1 will still serve as the start/stop control.

Note: The SR44 line has been discontinued
For currently available soft starters, please see Soft Starters on the web site.
