How does repeated Jogging affect the sizing of the starter?
Answer
Repeated jogging has no affect on the sizing of the starter but jogging the motor is a starting event and will heat the thyristors. The addition of a cooling fan will reduce cooling time, increase the number of Starts and Stops per hour and should be strongly considered.FAQ Subcategory: None
