Stacklights Frequently Asked Questions AutomationDirect Logo

Question

If I use an alarm module on my Eaton Cutler Hammer stacklight which wiring terminal does the alarm module use?

Answer

The alarm module, since it is always the topmost unit on the stacklight, uses the next highest terminal, after the last light module.

For example;

If you had 2 light modules and an alarm module

the bottom light module would use terminal 1

the next light module would use terminal 2

the alarm module would use terminal 3

If you had 1 light module and an alarm module

the light would use terminal 1

the alarm module would use terminal 2.
