Question
How can I find the MAC address of a C-More panel?
Answer
If you are at the panel;- Goto setup screen (touch and hold upper left corner for 3 seconds)
- Select Information
- Select Ports
- Look under Ethernet MAC address
If know the IP address of the panel and have an Ethernet connection;
- Open a Windows DOS Prompt (Start->Run->CMD)and enter the following;
- PING (ip address of the panel> (press enter)
- ARP -a (press enter)
- PING (ip address of the panel> (press enter)
If have the C-More Programming Software open have an Ethernet project transfer link created;
- Select Send project to Panel
- Select Ethernet
- Select Browse
- The link will show the IP address and the MAC address
