Question: Can GE Series 1/1+ be replaced with a PLC Direct 305 CPU? Part numbers would start with "IC610CPU" for all, and end in numbers 101, 104, 105, 106. |
Answer: Yes, the GE Series 1/1+ can be replaced with the D3-330 or D3-340 CPU. These CPUs are upward compatible from the GE CPUs with the exception of the IC610CPU106 which is the same as the D3-330 CPU. The prom chip from any GE CPU with 3.7K of memory can be transferred to the D3-330 CPU, but not the D3-340. |
