STEP 1)

First, gather these required materials:

• EZ-TOUCH PANEL (ANY SIZE)
• EZTOUCH-PGMCBL
• EZ-TOUCHEDIT

STEP 2)

At this point, your EZ-TOUCHEDIT software will need to be installed and your PC connected to the EZ-TOUCHPANEL by the way of the EZTOUCH-PGMCBL. Now make sure the panel is powered up and the software is open and running before proceeding.

STEP 3)

This is the first screen you should see when you start up the EZ-TOUCHEDIT software. When you get here, click on the "Edit Program OFF-LINE" shown in the picture.

STEP 4)

In this step you click on "SETUP", then scroll down and click on "UPGRADE FIRMWARE...." See picture. After you do this go to Step Five.

STEP 5)

Now you click on the "BROWSE" button. This will pop up another box that you will use to find where your firmware is located. After you find the firmware file, you will click on it and then click on "OPEN". Now proceed to Step Six.

STEP 6)

In this step you will select the PC Port you are using for you EZ-TOUCHPANEL. To do this you will click on the drop box arrow in the "USE PC PORT" area. After selecting the COM Port click "OK".
Then go to the next step.

STEP 7)

If your PC finds the EZ-TOUCHPANEL you should see this screen (shown in the picture). If you do not see this screen an error has occurred . To correct this error, check your COM PORT connection, cable connection and then go back to the beginning of this process. Now that you are here you will click "CONTINUE". When you click continue then your firmware update will start. Proceed on to the next step.

STEP 8)

Once the Update tool reaches 100% completion, you will click on "OK". This is the end of the procedure. Go to the next step to see how you test the EZ-TOUCHPANEL to see if the upgrade was successful.

STEP 9)

To test the firmware version you will press with your finger tips the upper left corner of the screen and the lower left corner of the screen simultaneously (shown below). When you do this, a screen will come up with the version of your EZ-TOUCHPANEL to exit firmware screen just powerdown.
Now you are now finished.
