1) Incremental Encoders, Standard Outputs
Standard and heavy duty encoders have PNP outputs, light duty have NPN, but ALL are compatible with our high-speed counter modules (DL-05-Dx, F1-130-Dx, D2CTRINT, D3-HSC, D4-HSC)

2) Incremental Encoders, Differential Outputs
Can be used for SJ-FB card for the Hitachi SJ300 drives and also MRO or third party applications requiring a differential output.

3) Absolute Encoders (Gray Code), Standard Outputs
Absolute encoders all have NPN outputs. These encoders are compatible with ALL of our 24vDC input modules, providing they have enough free inputs. However, only certain CPUs have the GRAY code function: DL05, DL240, DL250, DL350, DL440, and DL450.
