Question I need to add another module to my DL205 9-slot base, but the rack is full. What can I do?
Answer 1.- D2-250-1 and D2-260 are the only CPUs supporting local expansion. You need to change the base D2-09B to D2-09B-1 if this is the case. 2.- You can use ERM/EBC system with all CPUs except D2-230. 3.- A D2-RMSM with a D2-240, a D2-250 and a D2-260, or the bottom port of a D2-250(1) or D2-260 CPU can serve as a remote I/O master. The D2-RSSS serves as the remote slave and resides in the CPU slot of the remote base. Since this is true remote I/O, the scan is handled differently than local I/O.The D2-230 does not support remote I/O.
