| Answer | Yes, the DL05 can communicate to all of the other DirectLogic PLCs including the DL06, DL105, DL205, DL305 and DL405 families. The DL05 can be a serial master or slave to a DL06 (DirectNet or Modbus RTU), D2-240 (DirectNet)D2-250-1(DirectNet or Modbus RTU), D2-260 (DirectNet or Modbus RTU), D3-340 (DirectNet), D3-350 (DirectNet or Modbus RTU), D4-440 (DirectNet), and D4-450 (DirectNet or Modbus RTU). It can also be an Ethernet master or slave when using an optional Ethernet Communications Module in the option slot of the DL05. An RS232 to RS422/485 converter will be required for communications wiring. |
