Question I don't have a CD-ROM drive in my PC; how can I install DirectSOFT32?
Answer With no CD-ROM drive available on the destination PC, you can use a second PC with a CD-ROM drive to make a set of installation diskettes.
  1. You follow the normal installation directions through entering the product key code. Once the key code has been entered, the MakeDisks button will be enabled.
  2. Click the MakeDisks button
  3. Enter the drive letter of the floppy disk
  4. You’ll be prompted for the four blank floppies
An alternative to making a set of installation diskettes is using a network accessible CD-ROM drive on another PC to perform the installation over a network. The CD-ROM drive on the second PC must be “shared”, with Read-Only permission.
  1. Connect both PCs to the network
  2. Use Network Neighborhood to find the second PC
  3. Double-click the CD-ROM’s share name
  4. Browse to the DS32PGM directory
  5. Double-click DS32P32.Exe to begin the installation
