| Question | My Optimate panel lights flash when connected to the bottom port of a D2-240. What's wrong? |
| Answer | The lower port on the D2-240 defaults to ASCII mode and needs to be set to HEX mode in order to communicate with an Optimate pane. Access the port settings from DirectSOFT by PLC->Setup->Setup Secondary Com Port. |
