| Question | My horsepower requirements fit either the GS2 or the Durapulse drive families, which is the best choice for me? |
| Answer | Both drives will run most applications, but if you need more speed control or low speed performance the Durapulse would be the drive to use .The primary difference in the drives is the control method. The GS2 is a Volts/Hertz drive and the GS3/Durapulse is a Sensorless vector drive. An example of the different applications is if you needed to run a conveyor both drives will work fine. If you need to operate a spindle that needs to maintain a stable speed across its range you would need the Durapulse with a feedback card. |
